It is a bittersweet moment for us at Tutor Revolution. Two of our tutors are heading to medical and graduate schools, one tutor accepted a full-time position with a company in New Mexico, and one is now a speech pathologist following her dream. We wish you guys the best of luck; it was wonderful having you four on our team. You will be missed!
Some of our tutors are generalists– have multiple subjects they love to teach; they would be able to work with your student on most (or all) of his or her homeschooling needs. In addition to the “normal” homeschooling families, we have helped all-star athletes and co-op groups. Call or email to see if we can assist you with your homeschooling needs!
If you are interested in having your child attend a top-private high school in the DFW area, he or she will probably have to take the ISEE (or a similar) exam. Don’t let your child test blindly!! I have found an amazing online-diagnostic/testing tool, made by the Test Innovators. This is the perfect place to start. After your child completes a section, you will be able to see stats stating your child’s specific weaknesses; afterwards, you can decide whether or not you want to pursue private tutoring for your child.
10% of all packages all summer (includes single sessions)
** Parents, do not let your child’s hard work during the past school year go to waste. Learning requires continuous practice, as much as, sports and music.
Book summer sessions to help ease the transition of class levels, strengthen any weaknesses, and prepare for core/SAT/ACT/AP/STAAR curriculum. **
We will offer the following curriculum (Pre-K through college) tailored to your student’s needs:
History: Texas, US & World history
Spanish: Beginner-Advanced Conversation
French: Beginner-Intermediate Conversation
Organization & Study skills
The summer special will begin when the student is finished with their current school year and will end on the first day of that individual’s 2015-2016 school year.
If you need assistance in a subject that is not listed above, feel free to contact us to see if we will be available to accommodate your request as well.
Noa is a 7th grade student from Israel & Great Britain living in Texas with her family temporarily. In addition to being an excellent student, she is highly skilled in language acquisition. Already fluent in Hebrew and English, she is simultaneously learning Spanish, French, and Latin. Basketball is her favorite sport, and recently, Chris Paul gave his shoes to her after a game against Dallas.
Sarah is a high school junior interested in pursuing a career in the medical or forensic fields. She was selected to attend the 2014 Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Washington D.C. The Congress is a selective honors program for American students who demonstrate high academic achievement, leadership potential, and determination to serve in the field of medicine. In addition to her rigorous course load, Sarah plays the flute in her school band.
Tutor Revolution also offers group instruction for those who need a temporary educator. If you’re heading to the DFW area for a transitory period, we can facilitate your schooling needs.
